Your Mental Health Matters
Mental health is a journey that is not meant be to be traveled alone and it does not have to come without joy. There comes a time when we must seek help from a professional to cope with life’s challenges. Let’s be honest, life is hard already and then when you throw a global pandemic into the mix, it can seem unmanageable. With the increasing stress and demands of our jobs, families, health, financial burdens, lack of time, and juggling of different roles, it can be difficult to face all these obstacles alone. You should feel so incredibly proud that you have even made it this far and are considering not doing this thing alone. Let’s end the stigma of mental health and finally embrace it just as we do our physical and spiritual health.
How I Can Help
I am a licensed clinical social worker committed to helping women and mothers learn how to effectively manage stress and anxiety that accompanies motherhood and other life stressors through online therapy. My work focuses on meeting you where you are and helping you to identify any thoughts and behaviors that are no longer serving you. Together we will help you create healthier coping skills, improve time management skills to prioritize self-care, and learn to control the anxious thoughts that consume your mind. I believe in helping you to reach your highest potential and helping you establish freedom from the things that are holding you back.
The Life You Deserve
I believe you deserve and can live a life that is not consumed by anxiety. I will help you recognize how your negative thought patterns and beliefs are holding you back. I want to help you navigate through life’s challenges because as women we sometimes feel like we have to carry the weight of the world. Together my hope is that we can increase your confidence and recognize all that you ARE capable of being. I am here to listen, validate, encourage, inspire, understand, and support you. I will provide you with a safe, unbiased, warm, and nonjudgmental space. My ultimate goal is to help you find joy along your journey.
With that being said, I also work with and have experience with couples and men who may be struggling with similar issues listed above. Anxiety, depression, and parenthood stress is not specific to JUST women and I would love to help you on your journey to joy. Reach out today so we can determine if we would be a good fit.
Taking the first step is always the hardest one and I would be honored to stand beside you.
“The joy we feel has little to do with the circumstances of our lives and everything to do with the focus of our lives.”- Russell Nelson
